All models support dual hot-swap power supplies
The IPMI Port on the A500X, A500XD, and A600X models provides:
• Remote POWER ON and POWER OFF
• Remote console for toubleshooting
• IPMI data such as temp and fan speeds for data center operators that use IPMI
The "MGMT" port provides WebMux configuration LAN access. This separate port allows out-of-band management - separate from the LAN ports used for load-balancing functions.
The "BACKUP" port is used for High Availability (HA) failover communication for a pair of WebMux configuration.
NETWORK TRAFFIC PORTS -- These are the ports for the
load-balanced traffic.
The A400X and A400XD models have two Gigabit ports.
The A500X and A500XD models have four Gigabit ports with hardware SSL acceleration built onto the NIC.
The A600X has two 10GBASE-T ports.
Ports can be aggregated in some configurations in order to provide higher throughput. (Link aggregation/Etherchannel
is enabled by default where possible.
