Reliability and Availability
All major components are hot-swappable, Field Replaceable Units (FRUs). Each Intransa StorStac Enclosure has redundant connections to the disk enclosures, and provides data availability and accessibility by supporting multiple physical mirrors with flexible management.

Product Overview

The StorStac storage system is comprised of the 2 GbE StorStac Performance Controller Unit 20 (PCU20) Controller and the StorStac Storage Capacity Enclosures (SCE). The StorStac Storage system can be deployed with up to four networked 2GbE PCU20 StorStac Controllers. All StorStac PCU20s and SCEs are preloaded with Intransa StorStac OS software. StorStac Storage system provides best-in-class system fault tolerance, based on Intransa’s advanced N-Way active-active scalable architecture.

The SCE comes in 3 versions, the SCE3 providing 3.75 TB capacity, the SCE7 providing 7.5 TB capacity and SCE11 providing 11.25 TB capacity. The SCE is a 15-slot disk drive enclosure. Each SCE offers 10 GbE throughput performance and capable of delivering 800 MB/s data transfer rates.

The SCE series is a Modular design with dual load sharing power supplies. It provides 2 disk controllers with GbE interfaces, equaling four (4) GbE interfaces per enclosure. This unique design allows IP connectivity to the drive level.
