The StorStac Storage System is comprised of the 10 GbE Performance
Controller Unit 100 (PCU100) or the 2 GbE Performance Controller Unit
20 (PCU20) and the StorStac Storage Capacity Enclosures (SCE). The
StorStac Storage system can be deployed with up to four networked 10 GbE
PCU100 or 2 GbE PCU20 StorStac Controllers and 15 SCEs. All StorStac
PCU100s and PCU20s are preloaded with Intransa StorStac OS software.
The StorStac Storage system provides best-in-class system fault tolerance,
based on Intransa’s advanced N-Way active/active scalable architecture.
The high capacity, ultra high performance StorStac PCU100 system
supports up to 180 TB of capacity, delivering up to 3,000 MB per second
throughput. The PCU100 front-end controller supports 10GbE single
front end ports and dual backend 10Gbe ports for high availability and
outstanding throughput.
Delivering the best flexibility in the industry, StorStac systems can scale
independently for performance and high availability by adding additional
controllers, or for capacity and increased disk spindles by integrating
additional SCE, or both simultaneously, to meet any customer requirement.
For scalable performance and high availability, the StorStac PCU100
system starts with a single 10 GbE front end controller and can grow
up to 4 PCU100s.
Delivering scalable storage and high availability, the StorStac PCU100 system
can start with a single StorStac SCE and grow up to 15 SCE, providing up to
180 TB of capacity.

The StorStac Storage System includes
StorStac OS software that delivers fail–over,
load-balancing, volume management, snapshots
and replications. The StorStac Storage
System comes preloaded with up to four
networked PCU100 StorStac Controllers and
with the StorStac OS software.
All major components are hot-swappable,
Field Replaceable Units (FRUs). Each
Intransa StorStac Controller has redundant
connections to the disk enclosures, and
provides data availability and accessibility
by supporting multiple physical mirrors with
flexible mirror management.
StorControl is a powerful Graphical User
Interface (GUI) for rapid volume creation
without requiring knowledge of the underlying
data structures. The integrated StorStac
Command Line Interface (CLI) is also provided
to allow users to create scripts for rapid
automated provisioning of storage.
The StorStac Controller supports all major host
operating systems and initiators, ensuring
flawless installations across all applications
and server environments.
